You could also use a paste of vinegar, salt and flour to get rid of the green patina. Clean in gentle, circular motions but do not rub vigorously. For corners and crevices, use a soft bristles toothbrush to rub the paste in. Don't polish them too often. For regular care, it is better to wash it gently in lukewarm water and pat dry with an old cotton t-shirt.
