To clean the stones, use dry sea salt in a small container and bury the crystal for a period of 24 hours. Don't use salt water as this damages softer stones. Alternatively, you can hold the crystals under running water for a minute and then place them in the sun to dry.

The most suitable colours to use in the guest room are white, coral red, cream, lilac, light blue, peach, green and light shades of pink. Remember to use soothing shades as it is liked by most. These colours are believed to maintain peace and harmony in the house. It is also a great idea to use such uplifting shades as accent points.

Try to keep the décor of the room minimal, sober and aesthetically appealing. Avoid trendy and funky décor for the room as not all your guests will like it.
