The Impact of Colours on Our Lives

Nature has bestowed us with an abundance of colours and they are immensely pleasing to our sight. Not only do they leave lasting impressions on our senses, but they also share a deeper relation to our well-being altogether. The practice of Astro-Architecture makes use of colours and the energy in them; and being an Astro-Architect, I firmly believe that the importance of colours in human life starts right from the moment of their birth.

It is believed that as soon as child is born, the lights and colours in the atmosphere come in contact with the new-born. The light that touches him first determines his horoscope and destiny. The light in question here is made up of seven colours, which are symbolic of the seven planets in Indian astrology. Each planet is known to emit rays of a colour – warm colours like red orange and cool colours like white and blue.

When the child is a grown-up individual, his destiny is intricately linked to his house and hence, house horoscope is a significant element of Astro-Architecture. Various colours play a vital role in influencing and balancing the energies in a house; colour energy is, indeed, a crucial element of your house horoscope.

A house horoscope is a concept that has a similar layout like that of a person’s horoscope, and is divided into 12 sectors resembling the incidents of the occupant’s life. The sectors can be categorised into positive and negative areas of the house and colours can be used to bring about the right balance of energies in that sector.

I strongly recommend the use of certain colours in particular areas of house. Like, when one of my clients was looking forward to the attainment of fame, I advised the use of the colour red in the ‘name and fame corner’ to enhance the process of achievement. This is because red is an energetic colour and attracts attention.

Coloured gemstones also occupy a remarkable place in Astro-Architecture. Depending on someone’s individual horoscope, a planet’s deficit influence can be determined and thereby, I prescribe the most apt gemstone for the person. The gemstones, in essence, break up the entire light received into the colour required for a particular person, thus achieving the balance. Adequate balance and flow of energy is the key that opens the doors to good living; so, embrace the right colours for a right and fruitful lifestyle today!
