Imperia Durakoat
Imperia Durakoat is an ideal product for a transparent casting which can take the shape of a hollow mould.
Imperia Durakoat is a two component solvent based interior wood-coating product that easily forms desired transparent casts, shapes & blocks when cast into an appropriate mould, like in a Riverine table, it can be poured to form a solid transparent cast in the initial empty space between 2 or more wooden logs, placed alongside with gaps. The final outcome if poured properly, obeying the recommended mixing ratio & to optimum height (Thickness), allowing inter-coating intervals, will form a solid block along with the wooden blocks, together which forms an exquisite tabletop unit. If tinted with Transparent dyes & to a suitable concentration to ensure appropriate transparency (Without development of Opacity) this can form colored casts, like a frozen River, flowing through the channel between the wooden blocks. Appropriate objects like stone chips, stones, sand, twigs, sea-weeds & plastic models of aquatic species can be embedded after the overnight curing of the 1st layer, before proceeding with the dropping of the 2nd layer, to give a more realistic look.
