Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), an energetic three day party ranging from dawn to dusk, has caught the hearts and imagination of millions of fans worldwide. As one of the biggest electronic dance festivals of America, it draws more than 200,000 attendees, and is an internationally recognized music fest now. It is a festival comprising of everything from rides to performances to brilliant fireworks and art installations!
This festival is an amalgamation of a playground filled with adventure, art and excitement. Experiencing it feels like being in another world where you can let go of everything and set yourself free. Music is obviously the soul of this festival but as far as the concept of complementary souls go; we would have to say colours are the complementary soul to the music of this festival. The vibrant colours of afternoon are lovely to get drenched in but even dreamier are the neon lights at night that cover the entire landscape.
Talking of the festival, the rides on offer are simply going to take your EDC experience to a different level and are an additional treat for all the people present. There is also a neon garden which is a major attraction of this festival. In this neon garden, beats and melodies of all shapes and sizes keep multiplying and the colours of this garden surely amplify the tempos!
The EDC also has costume clad performers to perform over the weekend. These performers are clad in bright, eye-catching costumes and they range from dancers to circus performers and other fancy characters that are an absolute delight to the imagination! There are dancers to clowns, all ready to entertain you, throughout the carnival and you will be encouraged to wear a costume too to get into the mood of the fest.
The real fun begins in the dead of the night, like any true electronic music performance and the last performer mostly wraps up around sunrise. The bonus, however, is that there are plenty of amenities available, like comfortable beds, showers and floor length mirrors on offer. To say EDC is a one of a kind experience will not be enough and to match each of the seven notes of music, the festival definitely uses all the seven colours of the rainbow!
